Allan Spotts, Chairman of the Cromwell Republican Town Committee has announced that the committee is actively seeking qualified candidates to run for various boards and commissions. “With the municipal election only months away, it is imperative that we get potential candidates to our nominating committee as soon as possible to begin the selection process”, Spotts stated.
“In a small community like Cromwell, the well-being of the town depends on its citizens being willing to step up to the plate to serve on our volunteer boards and commissions” he added. “We are looking to fill openings with the most qualified candidates; people who share our willingness to serve the best interest of the community, and are not afraid to make tough decisions.”
The committee will be seeking candidates to run for First Selectman. Board of Selectmen. Board of Education. Board of Finance. Board of Assessment Appeals. Planning and Zoning. Zoning Board of Appeals. The Town Clerk and Tax Collector are also elected officials whose terms are up in November.
